This is the warm end of the Since 1927 line: a classic-fit pullover hood in a heavy eight-and-a-half-ounce fleece with a twill-taped neck. Every buyer who has rated it so far has given it full marks.
Eight and a half ounces per square yard is a proper winter hood, not a lightweight one that pretends. You feel the difference the first time you pull it on.
Twill tape on the inside of the neck stops the shoulder seam stretching out, which is exactly where cheap hoods fail first.
